Defining Navigation Pages

The Navigation pages function associates modules and roles with a navigation page. What is a navigation page? A navigation page is considered a “site map” and is accessed from other pages by clicking the Navigation icon (compass icon) in the Upper bar.

Accessing the Navigation page function


Use Navigation pages Under Pages in the Administration > Authoring block to define navigation pages. Click a page name link to open an existing Navigation page.


Creating a navigation page


To create a new navigation page, click Create navigation page in the Right panel in the List of Navigation pages window.


  • You can add new modules to the navigation page.


  • You can add new roles to the navigation page.



Modifying a navigation page


  • To modify an existing page definition, click the pencil icon for the navigation page in the List of Navigation pages or click the Edit button from the Right panel in the Navigation page function window.
