Registry Entries

The following Registry Editor screen shows the values linked to the Sage X3 runtime engine. They are on the application server of the X3 install. The registry entries are Windows-based settings and should not be altered because they are controlled by the Sage X3 management console.

• The items shown in the Registry Editor may vary per installation.
• The name “Adonix” is the original name for X3.
• The folder name shown as “X3V7” will vary based on your installation of X3.

Note: The items shown in the Registry Editor may vary per installation.

• Values:
• ADXDIR, PATH, X3ROOT: Access paths (engine base, access to the executables stored in bin and ebin, access to the Folders)
• Directory paths of log files (diagnostic)
• ADXLOG: files *.log: run-time errors
• ADXDTRA: file *.tra: connection log file
• ADXTRA: files *.tra: Database call log file
• DBTYP: Database used
• Port, Service: Number/ service name TCP/IP
• UserService, UserServicePassword: User for startup of the NT service

• Values depending on the database (Oracle):
• ORACLE_BASE: Default directory of the database files
• ORACLE_VER: Database version
• ORACLE_SID: Name of the instance
• ORACLE_HOME: Database directory of the Oracle engine
• Values depending on the database (SQL Server):
• SQLS7_BASE: default directory path of the database files
• DATASOURCE: ODBC source name
• ORACLE_SID: Database name
• SQLS7_HOME: Path to SQL Server
