- This may be useful to perform after startup in test mode or after recovery of a folder’s permanent data (chart of accounts, customers, products, etc.).
- For example, you may want to purge the database of the transactions created in the test phase, just before the import of actual transactions and the operational startup of a folder.
Warning: This process is irreversible and can lead to loss of transaction data in a folder. Therefore, you should use extreme caution when running this utility. Be sure to back up your data in order to recover it if needed.
- Users should be logged out of the system before running this utility.
- Each table structure has a Reset to Zero (RTZ) flag at the table level and the field level.
- If the RTZ check box is selected, this utility will clear all the records from that table.
- If a field has the RTZ check box selected, this utility will clear that field in every record in the table.
- You can also reset to zero at the table level (Development > Data and parameters > Tables).
